incompatible.research workshop

This is something I have been recently working on:

My paper discusses the role of disconnection in network culture. I argue that disconnection is a principle according to which our network culture is formed. Drawing from the writings of Kittler, Massumi and Galloway I analyze the emergence and transformation of our network culture in the context of nuclear war and DDoS attacks.

I am preparing this paper for incompatible.research workshop in Universität der Künste/Vilèm Flusser Archiv, Berlin November 16-18, 2012. We were supposed to upload extended abstracts for the event. You can find it in its entirety here: In/compatibility of Disconnection. The paper is a work in process so you could expect even drastic changes to this version.
